Hello Salomé! Can you tell us what pushed you to practice this sport at this high level?

My brother was a real driving force for me, he always made me want to reach the highest level. His performances made me dream. The competitions quickly worked very well for me, so when you give medals to a 6 year old kid, it's hard to stop her in her quest...

What qualities are required to practice high-level climbing?

I wouldn't say that you have to have this or that qualities. That would close the door to too many people. Everyone arrives as they are and develops their qualities and of course their shortcomings. But let's say that the qualities allowing you to perform at a high level in climbing are specific to each discipline, in general in bouldering and difficulty they are mentality, strength, grip holding, flexibility, commitment, endurance, adaptation.

What is your fondest sporting memory?

My final at the Briançon World Cup, at home.

What is your next sporting challenge?

The Paris 2024 Olympics and all the World Cups on my way obviously.

Do you pay attention to your diet? If so, all year round or rather by period?

The weight/power ratio is very important in our sport. Light enough to carry in the air but not too low a weight to be powerful and respect your body. The balance to find is not always well mastered by athletes. We unfortunately have cases of sports anorexia. For my part, I am very greedy but today, with maturity, I have found my nutritional balance. I know how to please myself, but also make the necessary efforts to dry out a little for a deadline. This sharpening is therefore punctual in the middle of a healthy diet that respects my needs and my desires.

What do you think of Nüttree energy balls?

This is an ideal contribution for me. The perfect amount and cool boost I needed. No feeling of hunger or having eaten too much. I am also very happy to consume 100% natural and organic products. It’s a respectful gesture for my health but also for the planet.

I have a big weakness for chocolate so yes obviously I put these two flavors at the top: apricot-chocolate and choco-coconut! YUM !

What is the place of women in the climbing world?

In competition, men and women are in different categories. Fortunately because in any case physiologically speaking, men are more muscular than us even if we too have other qualities which are less developed in them. Despite everything, the women put on incredible performances. There is real respect between men and women in our sport!

What does a typical workout look like?

In climbing, through the practice of 3 different disciplines, the training is very diverse. Typically, I train 5 or 6 days a week. Among these days, there are approximately 3 or 4 full days of training (so 2 ​​sessions during the day or more). No two days are the same, and that’s a big advantage so you don’t get bored. So I don't really have a typical day but what is certain is that in the evening I am always very tired!

HOW DO YOU CONSUME NÜTTREE ENERGY BALLS?

For consumption it depends on what my day looks like. If I have a lot of workouts in the afternoon, I'll eat it between sessions. If I only have one, it will be right after, as a recovery. Taking energy balls often corresponds to snack time, I always feel a little peckish at that time.

In competition it's different: I don't eat a lot, but I snack a little throughout the day so energy balls are ideal for that!

Comment t’appelles-tu et quel est le sport que tu pratiques ? 
Je suis Paco Panossian, rugbyman et passionné de sport en général  

Qu’est-ce qui te plait le plus dans ce sport ?
C'est un sport qui est rempli de belles valeurs, la solidarité, la discipline et le respect. 

Quel est ton post au sein de ton équipe ?Je joue à la charnière, donc dans l'organisation du jeu.

Suis-tu un programme nutritionnel spécifique ? 
Oui quand je suis en période de compétition 

Quels sont tes objectifs de performance actuels, et ton alimentation joue-t-elle un rôle clé dans leur atteint ? 
Je suis super curieux de découvrir de nouvelles disciplines, j'ai réalisé un grand trip à vélo récemment (France - Arménie) par exemple, pourquoi commencer le crossfit ou un sport pour sortir de ma zone de confort. L'alimentation joue beaucoup sur mes performances, mais aussi sur mon sommeil et mon humeur ahah, donc j'essaye de cuisiner le plus possible, nuttree est une super alternative pour moi avant les entraînements pour éviter de manger des conneries moi qui suis très gourmand.  

Quelle importance accordes-tu aux produits naturels et biologiques dans votre alimentation ? 
Il y a quelques années, je ne m'en souciais pas vraiment pour être honnête, mais maintenant que je prends le temps de mieux acheter, les saveurs sont complètement différentes.    

Travailles-tu avec un nutritionniste ou un coach pour optimiser ton alimentation ?
Ca m'arrive de manière épisodique

Quelle est ta philosophie personnelle en matière de nutrition et de bien-être ?

C'est une clé essentielle dans la recherche de performance que j'ai trop négligé dans le passé. Je sens une réelle différence également dans mes phases de récupération.

Estimes-tu que nos produits répondent bien à tes besoins nutritionnels en tant qu'athlète ?
Clairement, c'est super important de ne pas démarrer une séance le ventre vide pour moi et le format de deux energy balls est parfait, ni trop ni pas assez. Maintenant, elles sont tellement bonnes que pour les gourmand comme moi il faut réussir à se limiter à deux ahah  

À quel moment de ta pratique sportive consommes-tu des produits Nüttree (avant, pendant ou après l’entraînement, en collation, etc.) ? Et combien ?
Je n'ai pas pour habitude de manger pendant, j'en mange deux. Je trouve que c'est un bon boost et ça ne me reste pas sur le ventre. 

Si tu pouvais créer ta recette parfaite d’energy-balls laquelle serait-elle ?
Je suis plutôt team sucré avant l'effort. J'aime beaucoup les mix de fruits.
